Nano Nano...

Nano fluids, cool name, and can you imagine the kudos when you say 'oh yeah, I've got a nano fluid cooling circuit'? OK, so maybe that's just me then.
Nano fluids have microscopically engineered particles in that can do things that ordinary fluids can only dream of, if fluids dream that is, which they don't, clearly.
Struggling back to the point; nano particles designed for cooling systems are much better at taking heat away from hot bits and giving it up at cold bits, this means that less fluid is needed to do the same job and radiators can be shrunk a bit too. The knock on effect is that the intake area for the radiators can be smaller and the aerodynamics improved, which is nice.
One of the problems with piston engines is that the cooling isn't even, hot spots compromise the engine tune and restrict efficiency and performance, luckily these magical nano fluids can help here too, releasing a little more of the engines true potential.
Most people don't realise that electric cars need cooling too, drive motors get hot which limits their output, so nano fluids can help bring us higher performance EVs too.
Nano scale engineering is a science that is becoming a technology, being able to precisely control the properties of materials opens up a huge range of possibilities for the future, it's the dawn of a fantastic age.
