Dazey - The Panic Drive!

How do you panic a driver?

History, is it a thing of the past..

Click here to find out how Dazey came about and the bizare occurances that made this one of the most ammusing projects I have ever worked on.

Well one way is to turn the poor fellow upside down and make them drive backwards.

Yet another way is to split the driving between two drivers, both have steering but the accelerator and brake may be allocated to one or other at the whim of a 'creative' director.

Now, combine both these ellements and make the two of them attempt to drive round a course with twists and obsticles and a camera team staring at them and perhaps you might imagine how panic could start to set in.

This is precicely what the BBC decided to do on the series 'Panic Mechanic', a cross between scrap heap challenge and complete chaos. It only ran for one series despite good viewing figures, possibly the panic spread too far!

The vehicle concept came from a senior 'Top Gear' researcher, to proctect the guilty we shal only refer to him as Big John.

Drive it!

With caution, of course.

Dazey has been refurbished and modified ready for you to drive.

So if you want something different at your show or event then click here to see how you could be panicing in the drivers seat.

A dream reborn...

...Or was it a nightmare?
