The GT Double Six

So, where does a chap go after racing a Jaguar XJ-S V12? Well, the biggest problem with that car was its' weight which made everything work too hard from the brakes to the cooling system. Although it is possible to reduce its' weight further, without major surgery it will always be a heavy car. And I fancied a change.
So here is the idea; take the bits I like, V12 and suspension, and join them up with a light weight tube space frame then drop as little body work over the top of it as possible. As I have always rather liked the look of the Triumph Spitfire / GT6, when a stripped shell came up for sale I couldn't resist.
And here its is, all piled high with spares I don't need and stuff that should really be thrown away. It is from this embryonic mess that something 'special' will be born.
